    Members-in-Training Outstanding Poster Awards MIT First Authors of the top five (5) scored abstracts scheduled as Poster presentations from each Scientific Section and Cross-sectional Group will be eligible for consideration as award recipients and invited to participate in the MIT Outstanding Poster Award Competition during the Annual Meeting.     ARVO Foundation travel grants In 2002, the ARVO Foundation established and awarded its first travel grants. As of 2019, the Foundation has supported travel expenses for over 1,200 young researchers from around the world to report their work at the ARVO Annual Meeting.
