Women's Leadership Development Program

What is WLDP?

The Women's Leadership Development Program (WLDP) is a highly interactive, year-long learning experience focused on developing your leadership skills plus facilitating opportunities for leadership and networking within ARVO. Established in 2016, each year the Program hosts 9 - 15 participants and their mentors (men and women). Eligible applicants include early- to mid-career female scientists who are in a faculty/tenure-track (or equivalent) position for not more than 10 years and who have been ARVO members for at least three years at time of application.
