ARVO and the ARVO Foundation are proud to provide young investigators with opportunities to present their work and build their networks with the financial support of a travel grant.

Apply for a travel grant when you submit your abstract. (NOTE: Abstract submissions for ARVO 2024 are being accepted Oct. 16 - Dec. 8, 2023)

Travel grants cover Annual Meeting registration fees for all recipients and a stipend to help cover travel expenses is included.

Travel grants are provided to those whose research findings in the abstract are considered to be of high interest to the vision and ophthalmology research community. Recipients must have an accepted abstract for the upcoming ARVO Annual Meeting to be considered.

NOTE: Travel grant recipients who previously participated virtually in the Meeting remain eligible to receive a travel grant to attend the Meeting in person in future years.
