The Vision Research Program (VRP) within the Department of Defense (DoD) is the main funding source for researchers of visual system trauma, including injuries to the ocular system and visual dysfunction from Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI).  

Join ARVO and the National Alliance for Eye and Vision Research (NAEVR) for this on-demand webinar to learn about: 

  • research funding opportunities from the DoD, including FY2020 VRP and other DoD research programs. 
  • the history of the Congressionally Directed Medical Research Programs (CDMRP), which includes the VRP. 
  • the CDMRP grant review process, which differs from the NIH grant review process.
