Get to know WLDP alum Sezen Karakus, MD
Meet Sezen Karakus, MD, a 2022 - 2023 alum of the ARVO Women's Leadership Development Program (WLDP), which is designed for emerging women leaders within the ARVO membership. Karakus was part of WLDP's one-year, highly interactive experience focused on developing leadership skills, facilitating leadership opportunities and networking within the Association. Participants are also paired with a mentor who provides guidance and support.
Karakus sat down recently with ARVONews to share about her current research on ocular surface diseases, along with highlights and lessons she learned from her WLDP experience.
