MARVO 2023-2024 highlights
Established as an ARVO international chapter affiliate in 2010, the México Colegio Nacional de Investigación en Ciencias Visuales (MARVO) promotes collaboration between Mexican ophthalmologists interested in basic, clinical or epidemiological research. The chapter is led currently by MARVO President Manuel Ramírez Fenández, MD, FACS.
In June 2023, MARVO held a segment at the Congreso Mexicano Bienal en Oftalmología in Veracruz, México. The chapter will also have a segment in June 2024 at the XXVII Congreso Mexicano de oftalmologia — previously scheduled to be hosted in Acapulco, due to damage from Hurricane Otis the location will be reassigned and announced at a later date.
